Customization of email Using API

Hi,

I am creating a job for an email campaign. I want to customize my email content (e.g. bold, italics, changing font size/color etc).

For a non customized email, i gave my input for the email content in a notepad file (.txt). Is there a way to give an input in some other way (e.g. using MS word) and customize the email?

I tried with MS word.

Case1: Doctype="text"

It worked, but the content had garbage values.

Case 2: Doctype="MSW"

Job failed to create.

 

Please advise.

If you want to have rich formatting in your email, you need to submit HTML as your body document type.

You can save a word document as HTML if that's the easiest way for you to generate that content, but keep in mind that Word-generated HTML tends to be very verbose and leads to larger file sizes than is strictly necessary.
