I'm testing email messages sent to a mail box that I know is currently full.
A mail message that I sent (with a mail client - not via EasyLink) received the following email response:
Action: failed
Status: 5.2.2
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554-5.2.2 mailbox full
When I query the EasyLink system, I receive the following:
<Events>
<ArrivalEvent>
<ArrivalTime>2012-10-08T03:43:00.000Z</ArrivalTime>
<Class>5</Class>
<Subject>2</Subject>
<Detail>2</Detail>
</ArrivalEvent>
</Events>
It's my understanding that Class 5 is a permanent error and the delivery won't be retried. I expected that this would have been a "soft bounce" and that the system would continue to retry delivery.
