We need to dynamically insert a variable mobile number value in the sender/reply-to field, so that replies can be auto directed to the phone of the person who triggered the original message.

Unfortunately, this feature is not supported by our system. Our agreements with our SMS providers require us to use sending codes that can be routed back to us as the sender, rather than to another mobile number.
We support pushing the response messages to an application that could in turn send them somewhere else, but I'm not sure that would work for your application.
I suggest reviewing your options with your sales account team and/or the sales engineering team to see how we can help you.
