building MFP web client to consume XDDS webservise JobSubmit

Hello Sam, have some questions while building the client to consume JobSumbit web service :

1. what is value should be set for ListType "Name" attribute?

found explanation "Stored Fax List - Name of stored list" but do not know the value.

2. successfully created proxy class using VS2005 fro WSDL provided by this website. What should be done by Set_Server_and_Proxy in C# example?

3. when called JobSubmit service, received the following exception:
"The remote name could not be resolved:'endpoint.easylink.com' "

4. the following URL is used to init web request: https://test2messaging.easylink.com/soap/sync

5. Created my own Billing code: MFP_IF, so it possible to create it or i should use pre-defined one?

6. created my own unique for each different message refernce cRef, e.g. XD-20130214172324959, so it possible to create it or i should use pre-defined one?

7. attached here result.xml received after consuming JobSubmit.

1) That is the name of a list that you have stored on our system. That can be done using the API ListCreate or on MyPortal.

2) There is a sample called CS_HelperFunctions.txt that contains the addition ffunctions. You can cut and paste them into your Project.

3) That is the URL the Request will go to for the test2 system. It gets set in the Set_Server_and_Proxy function.

4) Not sure where you got this from, it is not a functional URL.

5) The BillCode is for youe use. It can be whatever will help you.

6) The same for the Cref.

7) It appears your Request did not contain the Message section.

Some additional comments on a couple of these:

ListName - My guess is that you don't really want/need to be using stored lists for this testing. You should be able to specify your destinations directly using something like <Destinations><Fax><Phone>NNN-NNN-NNNN</Phone></Fax></Destinations>.

As Tom indicated, CREF and Bill Code are freeform, so you can use whatever values you want for those.

If you want to use a Message ID to uniquely identify a message, and to prevent possible duplicate jobs, you should look at the <MessageId> element. This post gives a few more details: https://apiforums.easylink.com/emapidocs/25/JobSubmit/DuplicateSubmission.html

Is there any example to submit a document to fax using web services?

i cannot find

1) valid URL to send request

and

2) parameter that will carry fax number

The URL for the test2 system is what you have above in 4.

For the single fax number do this.
