Password Encryption for SOAP Web Services

Hi,

Our customer is enquiring whether it is possible to encrypt the password before calling the SOAP API. If yes, what type of encryption is supported? (symmetric / aymmetric; type of cryptography; using a predefined key string or certificate?)

If it is unsupported, it is possible to do it through customization request?

The API is only accessible using HTTPS, which encrypts
the request for transmission.

We do not support WSS XML encryption, but if they want to
avoid using a password, they might consider using signed requests (see https://apiforums.easylink.com/emapidocs/26/SOAPHeader/Credentials.html)

In the standard detail report, each recipient is listed individually with its own results.

If you require more information, you can use the API JobDeliveryStatusRequest which will provide you with the result text and will also show if there is a gammacode in case of an error.

If you want to know what the gammacodes mean, you can perform a search.
