Getting [User account is locked] : login not permitted: reason code = 1049 error message

Hi All,

I am using production api https://messaging.easylink.com/soap/sync to send a Fax. But i am getting the following error message when i send the request.

"XOA-4080 [User account is locked] : login not permitted: reason code = 1049 msg-XOA-4080 [User account is locked] : login not permitted: reason code = 1049 msg-user account has been locked"

I am using the following credentials to connect to the api.

UserId: fax2mail@oncologyanalytics.com

Can any one tell me how to unlock my account? or can anyone from api administration unlock it for me?

The API is just reporting what it gets back. This is not an API issue. You need to contact either Customer Care, your Sales person, or PreSales Engineer.to get this block removed and find out why it was placed.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, some time it works but some time it gives me this error. Is there any option in API to block the account for some time if acount is sending fax in a short interval of time?

The API is just submitting the job to our system. It has no blocking mechanism. The block is being done by the system. You need to have this looked at by the people suggested. I have never seen intermittant blocking.
