Fax Resend

Is their a way to retain the fax images delivered to OpenText via JobSubmit and associated with the MESSAGE_REFERENCE_NO to be able to use the Resend function?  When the initial attempt(s) fail or exceed the retry attempts, the JobStatus reports the job as ["Complete","Posted","Purged"], where the "Purged" would imply there would be nothing to resend.
