Easy Link Resend API

I’m currently trying to make a call to the Resend API to
resend a previously submitted fax.

In the case of job id 50190125 I initially created the job
using the Job Submit API call.

I then attempted to resend the same fax generated from the
50190125 job id and received job id 50155166. We have a client that would like the original fax resent 24 hours prior to a hotel checkin.

Although on the first attempt I received job id 50155166,
the hard copy of the fax was not generate. When I contacted f2m support they
were unable to locate the job id as well.

On my second attempt to resend 50190125, I received an error
that this was a duplicate job request. This second attempt occurred because the support team stated they could not locate job id 50155166.

Please provide additional assistance.

First, the WSDL you are using is very old. Click on the API Manuals in top right corner. Then the top Manual for 2.6. The Overview for each Request has the link for the latest WSDL.

You are speaking of two first attempts, 50190125, and 50155166. I am confused about that. Did you receive the fax for either one?

Did you recive fax for resends.

What URL are you submitting to? Using same for all submits?

Your second response shows duplicate, which it should.

Not sure what the response xml is.

For job id 50190125 I used http://premconn.premiereconnect.com/JobSubmit/2009/07?WSDL to create the initial job ID and we did receive this fax.

Job id 50155166 was created using the http://premconn.premiereconnect.com/Resend/2008/10?WSDL to resend job id 50190125. We did not receive the fax for this one. However the F2M support staff was unable to locate this job id nor was I able to locate using http://ws.easylink.com/JobDeliveryStatus/2011/01?WSDL. So I was suprised to receive the duplicate response when the system was unable to locate the job id 50155166.

Were you able to locate job id 50155166?

The response xml is the EasyLinkResend.Response.

I'll try a resend using the recent resend WSDL.

Unfortunately althought I used the new url I was unable to resend the original job id successfully

I need to know what URL you are submitting too. And what URL you are doing the Resend.

Why are you doing a Resend when the original says it was Posted?

Those two URL's are the WSDL URL's. Not the URL for submission. I could not find the user ID you sent me in either our Production system or our test syste. Who gave you the user ID? If you are using the same as API forum, that will not work. If that is the case you need to contact your Sales person or PreSales Engineer and have them get a user ID setup on our test system.

1. The endpoint URL for both WSDL is https://messaging.easylink.com/soap/sync

2. This is account was opened in 2012 so old I have no idea who the Presales Engineer ot Sales person is. Can you email the information to me or can we have a call. I feel that a call at this point will resolve alot of these issues.
