Errors/No Response Returned for Notifications submit and status check requests.

There are different type of errors/no response we are receiving from

1st Error: job_send api of Xpedite Issue

Error 31: This job has a duplicate localID

For around 16k job_send(fax) and job_submit(email) requests, we at Expedia are getting error 31. This has started happening off lately and causing multiple notifications not being queued up altogether in Easylink/OpenText queue.

Want to understand, what is the probable reason of returning the error?

2nd Error: No Response from job_send/Job_submit api of Xpedite/EasyLink.

There are multiple requests against which we have not received response from Xpedite. Can you please suggest what could be the possible scenario for the same?

3rd Error: Job_Status API of Xpedite

Error 42 : EError: Unable to retrieve status information for the indicated job

For 1 and 2. Where are you seeing these errs? From the JobSubmitRequest Result? That is what is need to be seen. Not what you are translating it to on your side.

Same with 3. This looks like it is coming from the JDSR.

Need MRN (job number) and XDN (Domain) for all.

For 1: Seeing error with Xpedite Job_Send Request. Since its a request to submit job in the queue and that got failed, we dont have job id against it.

Error 31 is not coming back from the API, it is what you are mapping it to.

You are providing a MessageID, which becomes the LocalID. This has to be a unique quilifier. If you are using a timestamp yu have to take it all the way down to 1000th ms.

I see you have localid in the above, this is not part of the JobSubmit. Do you have the XML for the Regeust?

The EasyLink API does not have a job_send, nor does it receive an error 31. If you are mapping this in your back end to our JobSubmitRequest and using the MessageID feature, that has to be a unique identifier, like your User ID and a timestamp that goes down to 1000 ms.
