How to use X.509 certificate

Hi again,

I have obtained the X.509 certificate from EasyLink using this tutorial:

But I am not sure how to use it properly. I tried to follow this: https://apiforums.easylink.com/emapidocs/26AM/SOAPHeader/Credentials.html, but I didn't quite follow.

If you can provide an example, I'd appreciate it.

On the bottom of the second link above is a XML sample. That is the only one available.

If an application is using an x509 certificate, and the password is set to expire, requiring change, will a job submitted using the cert fail if the password is in an expired state?

That would invalidate the certificate, so the JobSubmit would fail.
