Is there anything wrong with the JobDeliveryStatus API from1:13 AM CT or 12:44 PM IST?

Hi,

I was able to send faxes at around 12:17 AM CT but it's failing after that. Could you let me know if any issues from API end? if yes, how

    How are you trying to see the Status of a job? You may be trying to soon. The test system may have delays setting up job. You may have checkded to soon.

    I did the same even before and it was working fine. So why it behaved so weired after that. I submitted the fax at around 12:55 AM and got the delivery report at around 5:50 AM. Could you please let me know the appropriate time to wait before polling the delivery status? How it will behave in actual prodution enviironment? Can we expect the response bit faster in production compared to test envirionment?

    FYI, I am waiting about a minute before getting the delivery status of the job.

    Fax is subject to a Blackout period. If a JobSubmit is done during a blackout the delivery will wait until the blackout ends.

    The test system is exactly that, a test system. The results will not be the same as Production.

    You should wait five minutes to do a JDSR, After that, it depends on your retry settings for when you should check again.

    You can discuss both blackout and retry with your Sales Person or PreSales Engineer.
