One of my customer i have had been involved with Content Server 10.5 upgrade from CS9.7.1 has raised some queries about ports needed to get back through the firewall to the content server 10.5. Any pointers would be appreciated.

To interact with Content Server via the AppWorks Gateway, you need to configure the OTAG Reverse Proxy Service settings. The OTAG Reverse Proxy Service is part of the free AppWorks Components package, which you can download from here.
You need to configure the proxy to point to:
https://host:port/otcs/livelink.exe
So to whichever port Content Server is available on. All requests to Content Server have to be routed through the AppWorks Gateway to avoid Cross Domain policy issues.
