The Ipools API has not been published for use outside of Open Text yet. We are working on making it available next year.

Any information yet about when this will be available. It seems like core technology for doing systems integration with Livelink?Best regards/matt.

Ipools are going through some re-design. There are no dates for publication of the API yet.Simone

At least in my humble opinion.

Will the API ever be available? If not, could you at least inform your customers about it so that we stop looking for it!In the meantime, take a look to this document which explains a bit how it works. I succeeded in making a mostly functional iPool writer for LL9.5

Message from Riston Tapp via eLinkIt sure has been a long time ....I'm not sure about the history of this discussion thread. As far as Iunderstand things, there were never plans to publish the Ipools API. TheXML Activator has been the supported interface to Data Flows. Thank you for your quick reply. Now about XML Activator as it seems it is the way to go. LAst time we tried to use it (LL9.2 SP4 I think), the XML activator was buggy as it didn't allow to define custom metadata correctly. Was this solved in 9.5?If you have access to tickets, there is one in the nuew numbering (192163) and one in the old (186479OTC1).

Message from Riston Tapp via eLinkI believe this situation was cleared up for 9.5 SP1. If not, the bugshould be re-opened. The XML Activator producer should be functional (Ijust tried it on my 9.5 SP1 installation, hooray for me). Please note, we have not been offering the consumer process for sometime now.
