Anyone knowing about permission script ?

I am a newbie here so please be patient with me, I am catching up and start to like this product alot.Is anyone knowing if there is a central script that is always called when checking permissions.What I would like to do is to prevent some of my users to use Livelink other than in browse mode. No upload, not participating in projects, just VIEW access.I camed across LiveViews from ForMark that seems to do things like that, but I think its an overkill for my usage as it is of a more temporarily nature I need it.AnyOne done anything like it, and willing to share your experience.Thanx in advanceBertBert@Johansson-Kaneko.com

Also newie - this is what we are looking at doing:Go to the Administer Object and Usage Privileges section in the Livelink Admin and control access there per group.

Hi.Maybe I have missed something but it seems to me that what you are talking about is making these people GUEST's in the system. That is wherever they have access they are assinged the guest role (i.e. in any project), and are given no permissions to write on the enterprise workspace.As a guest they can look, but not touch, so no adding to discussions, no uploading documents, etc...If I have missed the point then my next question's are: (a) do you have SDK Builder? (b) Have you done the training?Best regards/matt.
