IE4 Confirm Open After Download fix no longer works with Quickview Plus?

For some time now we have been advising users to configure the file types option of the IE4 browser to check 'confirm open after download'. We do this to prevent a document from being opened immediately inside the IE4 browser and thus denying the user the ability to check-out a document by pressing the 'submit' button.Our company has recently begun adopting Inso's Quickview Plus software for corporate wide use and we find that documents viewed with QV+ are immune to this fix - the documents continue to open immediately without presenting a 'Save to Disk or Open now' option to the user, so the submit button is useless.Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas of a new way to preserve Livelink's document check-out feature?

You are not opening the document in the same window, QV+ is showing a view of the file. These are two very different things. We had the same problem and we had to remove integration with Internet Explorer for QV+. This is one of the settings in QV+.Let me know if you need further assistance, we have had a lot of experience with this stuff (what a pain in the ****).
