Getting correct totalhits when dsp options set to 10.
Dan_Duffy
I can not seem to get Livelink to cough up the correct number of total hits when the display options are set to some small amount such as 10. In sbroker:searchBroker:applyQuery2 there is code that seems to merge the results of searches against various brokers/region and eliminates the duplicates. Is resList the total hits returned by the query or has it already been filtered? Any enlightenment in this area would be much appreciated.

An answer from OT-support: Number of Search HitsIf you have version 815 or 813 with the Search Upgrade then its possible to display the total number of hits performed during a search.1. Edit the %LIVELINK%\config\opentext.ini file and add the following section. If this section already exists then add the ShowTotalHits=RAW keyword to the section.[SearchOptions]ShowTotalHits=RAW2. Restart the Livelink Intranet ServiceYou should now be able to see the total number of hits within the search screen.Regards, kristiaan.devries@nl.origin-it.com
