How to search by item type in L8.02?

Does anyone know how to search for something by item type? For example, "dog" in folders only or document only?

You have to specify the integer valuo of the type you want to search. I don't know where in the documents is this info, but you can find it when Administering privileges (restrict the creation of something in the admin.index) When you restrict something in the upper left appears the integer you need.Bye

You can find item types in Builder by selecting Tools... Application Globals. The global variables that start with $Type are item types and their integers. Documents are 144, Folders are 0, Tasks are 206, etc.

Thank you for the response. I needed to know what regionto search against and what datatype it took. After testingI concluded that a search against OTSubType must be bysub type integer, there is no translation of the systemconstants e.g. $TypeFolder. Much obliged.
