Is it possible to change Owner Group with LAPI?

I am using LAPI 8.1.3 with Java to create a template based folder structure in the Enterprise volume.The program works like this:1) copy a source "template" folder to a location in the enterprise structure.2) for each node of the target, repalce variable data (mainly attributes values and access lists) with pgm parameters.I am stuck with the problem that there is no way to change the owner group of the copied items using LAPI (when this is possible from the interface). I thought of changing the default group of the user running the program before the copy of the folders, but this work around is, at the very least, not very elegant.Do anybody has an idea on how this could be better done.
