Anomaly in creating input file for Bulk Loader

Our admin user assigned to load historical documents in our DMS system has encountered a problem in exporting (from Excel 97) the tab delimited file which is used to guide the loading process. As we are not using the last column, it seems that Excel will only correctly generate the expected file format for the first 14 rows.Anyone else encounterd this? Workarounds?The one we have found is a bit of a nuisance.
