What's the OT suggested strategy for the following situation:-a customer is running a LL 8.1.2 instance (optional module: LL Adobe Forms) on Nt 4, IIS4 and Oracle 7.3.4 (Dual server architecture);case 1) we go for LL 8.1.5 with Oracle 8.0.5 and then in summer we will to for LL 8.2 and Oracle 8.1.6case 2) we go directly from LL 8.1.2 on Oracle 7.3.4 to LL 8.2 on Oracle 8.1.6In both cases can we safely go from Oracle 7.3.4 to Oracle (8.0.5 or 8.1.6) exporting/importing our db without problems and then installing the new LL version and connecting the new db? Till now I had different opinions, including the fact that importing an exported Oracle 7.3.4 db into an Oracle 8.x can give some problems.Thank you.

Has anyone heard when Oracle 817 will be supported by OT or anyone who is currently running under this version?

Supported or not we are running LL8.1.5 on Oracle 8.1.7. We converted about a month ago and have not run into any difficulties.Regards,John Simon

We have installed Ver 9.0.0.1 on Oracle 8.1.7 no problemas at all yet I contacted OT support UK but they haven't been able give me a date for its certification..

Does anybody know if Opentext has certified Livelink 9.0.0.1 with Oracle 8i Release 3 (8.1.7) or when they will certify Livelink 9.0.0.1 with Oracle 9i?We want to upgrade to at least 8.1.7 but as far as we know, Opentext will not support us.
