LiveReport / Enterprise Index Question

We wanted to update attributes for a large number of objects via a LiveReport. My question is will the updated attribute info in the database be incorporated into the Enterprise Index?Is there a way to have the Enterprise Index recognise the changes made to the attribute info _without_ re-indexing?I would appreciate any help in this matter.Thank you very much!Mustafa

OTCS says that any changes to the db (made through LiveReports) will not be reflected in the Enterprise Index. Re-indexing will be required.In general, they discourage such use of LiveReports.Instead, they recommend designing a program using LAPI. Any metadata changes made through LAPI will trigger the Enterprise Index to reflect the changes.Has anyone else dealt with updating the metadata for a large number of objects in Livelink? Any advice/suggestions would be aprpeciated.Thank you!Mustafa
