Hello,I am fairly new to livelink, so I dont know what is possibleyet and what is not. So I am taking my chances that you people can help me out a bit.I have a couple of servlets, wich are java server-sideweb applications, like cgi, and I have livelink. These servlets together with livelink compose our intranet. With some of these servlets I need to know who is logged in.I dont want user to login more then once, I just want touse the login from livelink, and I would like to use this livelink login information in my servlets. Is it possible, if a user is logged in using livelink, to see, in my servlet, wich user is logged in?I only need the login name.Ony other ideas are also welcome, thanks anywayIdo de Lepperilepper@fbk.eur.nl

Hi,the problem you are facing cannot be solved easily. There is no way at all to see who is logged in currently. As you don't have to do an explicit logoff to quit Livelink, (eg by closing browser is enough) there is nothing logged. What info do you have: Each time a user logs in it's logged in the Audit, that's all.Maybe ther is a possibility to analyse the browser cookie to see whether you are still in Livelink Unfortunately I don't knwo anything about this.Johan RaedemaekerAsBuilt - a swITch Business Unit
