What's new today report shows attachments in a workflow
Steven_Knight_(EllaNUser1_(Delete)_2275084)
I have a "Employee Referral" workflow, which is manager by the recruiting group. Any user who runs the "What's new" reports, can see the attachments in workflows as a result of this LiveReport.Any ideas on how to stop this?

Message from Xu Moua via eLinkYou can modify the Livelink report to exclude workflow attachments. Modifythe SQL in the "What's New Today" LiveReport to the SQL shown below:select * from DTree where (CreateDate>%1) and %2 and subtype != 154 order byCreateDate descXuProduct Specialist-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: July 13, 2000 3:26 PMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: What's new today report shows attachments in a workflowWhat's new today report shows attachments in a workflowPosted by EllaNUser1 on 07/13/2000 03:22 PMI have a "Employee Referral" workflow, which is manager by the recruitinggroup. Was that SQL for SQL Server or Oracle?I'm using Oracle, and the results looked exactly the same.

Message from Xu Moua via eLinkIt should not matter what type of database since it is standard SQL.Workflow attachments have subtype of 154. The new SQL statement imposed acondition of:"and subtype != 154"which should not return workflow attachments. Unless the attachments arealiases and folders containing documents, in which case you can modify theSQL to the following:select * from DTree where (CreateDate>%1) and %2 and parentid not in (selectdataid from dtree where subtype = 154) and subtype != 154 order byCreateDate descLet me know if that helped.Xu-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: July 14, 2000 11:32 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: RE- RE- What's new today report shows attachments in a workflowRE- RE- What's new today report shows attachments in a workflowPosted by EllaNUser1 on 07/14/2000 11:28 AMWas that SQL for SQL Server or Oracle?I'm using Oracle, and the results looked exactly the same.[To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]============================================================Topic: What's new today report shows attachments in a workflow

Where is information such as the fact that subtype 154 is a workflow attachment available?

I do not see the "admin online guide"
eLink User
Message from Xu Moua via eLinkThe Admin Help pages are only available in Livelink v8.1.5.There are two different Help pages, one for the administrator and the otherfor the public. To access the administrator's Help pages you must be loggedin as the Admin user and MUST be at the administration page (ie
http://..../livelink.exe?func=admin.index)
when clicking on the help icon(question mark). If the title of of the Help page is 'Livelink Help Contents' then you arenot at the right place when clicking on the help icon (question mark). The admin help page is titled 'Admin Help Contents'.-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: July 26, 2000 7:37 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: RE- RE- RE- RE- RE- RE- What's new today report showsattachments in a workflowRE- RE- RE- RE- RE- RE- What's new today report shows attachments in aworkflowPosted by EllaNUser1 on 07/26/2000 07:36 AMI do not see the "admin online guide"[To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]============================================================Topic: What's new today report shows attachments in a workflow
