copy documents to filesystem

HiWe are looking for an easy way to copy documents like pdf's, doc's and gif's from the database to filesystem of the livelink server. Does anyone else can show us how?Best regardsjens

Hi,

I guess you mean you want to export you internally stored documents (BLOBs) to an external file storage.
You should ask OT support, they have normally a module to enable this function.

HiWe don't want to export all internally stored documents. We have to export only documents which are attached to news.The customer is using Livelink to generate news for his intranet. Some news have to be exported to internet via XML, the problem is that the attached documents have to be exported too. The content of the news is written to an XML file in filesystem of server.We try to export the documents be using the functions DAPI.FetchVersion() and DAPI.FetchRendition(), but it doesn't work.Best regardsJensjens.brockmann@fractales.de
