Message from David Slimmon via eLinkHi there,I assume you mean that you'd like to see a LiveReport listing users that have notlogged in, correct? If so, it's not too hard to do if you've turned on Livelinkauditing for the Login event. Basically, you'll need to familiarize yourself withthe DAudit table. You might want to take a look at some of the more complicatedauditing LiveReports that have already been put together to rank logins to Livelink. For example, you might want to look at Alex Kowalenko's:LR0011 - How can I create a LiveReport to show me the users with the most logins toLivelink within a given timeframe?

a *much* simpler level, you can do a quick SELECT from DAudit to determine whichID's have been audited for login, and then work backwards from there in your Kuaftable - something like the following:SELECT UserId, AuditDateFROM DAuditWHERE Event = 'Login'That would give you a list of everyone who HAD logged in (during the audit period). You'd then just need to compare that to a list of IDs from Kuaf.SELECT Id, LastName, FirstNameFROM KuafOr some such thing. This could likely be worked into a single statement. Thepossibilities are endless with this stuff.Have fun!Dave-----Original Message-----How to create a Livereport whit the users that have not logged? Thanks, for your help.[To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]============================================================Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion

Message from David Slimmon via eLinkI like this one even better - thanks to the talented Mr. David Hooey for this one...SELECT NameFROM KUAFWHERE ID NOT IN (SELECT UserID FROM DAudit WHERE Event='LOGIN')As long as you have auditing turned on for the Login event, this SQL will give you alist of everyone who has never logged in (since the audit log was last purged).Regards,Dave-----Original Message-----Hi there,I assume you mean that you'd like to see a LiveReport listing users that have notlogged in, correct? If you are running Oracle, this query will be much faster:select namefrom kuaf k, daudit dwhere k.type=0 and k.deleted=0 and k.id=d.userid(+) and d.auditdate is nullNote the (+) in the where clause.

Message from Bax Ruud, F.C. via eLinkI'm quite familiar with sql but what does the (+) mean ?!?!?Kind regards,Ruud> -----Oorspronkelijk bericht-----> Van: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion> [SMTP:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]> Verzonden: vrijdag 16 februari 2001 22:50> Aan: eLink Recipient> Onderwerp: If you are running Oracle, this query will be much faster > > If you are running Oracle, this query will be much faster > Posted by beauliec on 02/16/2001 04:54 PM> > If you are running Oracle, this query will be much faster:> > select name> from kuaf k, daudit d> where k.type=0> and k.deleted=0> and k.id=d.userid(+)> and d.auditdate is null> > Note the (+) in the where clause.> > [To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]> > ============================================================> > Topic: Livereport with the users not logged>

The + means 'an outer join'. If you want all entries from a selected table to appear regardless of whether they have a match on the table you are 'joining' to then you can use this feature. It is very useful. It can help produce 'selections' for tables that do not have entries in another table.

if you want to get enrolled users only you can use:AND KUAF.UserPrivileges = 15

We made every user changed their password on their initial log in, so I used this to filter out the database.SELECT name "Username", firstname + " " + lastname "Name", mailaddress "Email" FROM KUAF WHERE PWDExpireDate < 'FEB 16 2000' ORDER BY name ASC,lastname , firstname, mailaddressThere is supposed to be a flag set in the KUAF table, but when I took a look at the KUAF Table, I noticed that users who have not logged in had a date in their PWDExpiredDate field so I used that instead. This gave a list of all the users that have not logged in.

Hi,Running the above statement against mssql7 resulted in returning group names as well as project participants (litterally "member", "guest", "coordinator"). Here's my statement:SELECT Lastname, Firstname, Mailaddress FROM KUAF WHERE ID NOT IN (SELECT UserID FROM DAudit WHERE Event='LOGIN')and Lastname!='null';The only thing i haven't figured out yet is how to make the e-mail addresses clickable so i can send them mail instantly... which they probably won't read, either :-))Cheers,Sander

John,We use a report similar to this and have found it quite helpful, but would also like the report to summarize the list of names by the Project(s) they are associated with.Any thoughts?Regards,Dave Beliveau

more info..We would like to be able to input the project name, and have only "users not logged in" for that project be returned in the report.Dave Beliveau
