Limited length for attribute-values to 255 chars

Hi,I remember an old issue, but can't find it.The limited length of the ValidVals column in the table DAttributes (255 chars), means that the sum of all values may not exceed 255 chars.We shoul have a list of more then 300 times 10 to 20 chars.Is there a way around?What are the potential risk and consequences.RegardsJohan Raedemaekermailto:jraedemaeker@switch.beswITch - AsBuilthttp://www.asbuilt.be

You aren't clear as to which version of LL you are talking about. With 8x you can modify the schema and change the length allowed to whatever you need (up to 4K I believe).Regards,John Simon

We a using 8.1.5. with SybaseCan I be sure this has no impact on the search or any other functionalities?
