Displaying attributes for a category

Is there a way to set popup values for an attribute by way of a SQL select statement rather than listing them literally in the listbox on the attribute's "set popup values" page? On the same vein, how would I go about writing a SQL query embedded in an html page if I chose to create a popup in that manner?TIA.

This can be done very easy..
The values are stored as a list of string in the ValidVals field of the DAttributes table.
You can use a simple insert into command or an update...

Thanks a lot!I'm thinking I'd like to modify the popup.html page so that when the popup in question is called it runs an update statement so that the data is guaranteed fresh. I'm sure I can write the script, but I don't know how to run a sql command from an html page (if it is indeed possible). Could you help on that???Or maybe it would be easier to run a stored procedure?I'm open to any and all suggestions...-michael spiller-
