I am working on a report that will combine category attributes on a task with DTREE information about that task for a specific project in V9. According to the documentation a Category is entered into Detree as a object when it is set up. What is the subtype for a Category? And what would be the best way to join tables to report task dtree information and category attribute values for that task. On a non live report issue but related does anyone know how to force the use of category or default a category to a project task? I tried to assign the category to the task list folder but that didn't seem to cause the tasks to inherit the category.
