Why doesn't the the Version in the Install Modules list match?

I have two custom modules in our Livelink system that have a version number of 8.1.1 in the WebModule.fVersion feature, the module INI file, and the module directory name. However, in the Administration - Install Modules page the version is listed as 2.1.1. I have searched through all of the files under the module's directory and can't find anything that would imply a version of 2.1.1.Why doesn't the Install Modules page report the same version number that is defined in the module? Where is the version 2.1.1 coming from?

I inherited support for these two modules; I was not the original developer so I don't know how they were originally configured. They have been reinstalled from our development > test > production Livelink servers several times and retain these version numbers.

After using the procedure described in the previous discussion topic, version number in the Installed Modules page now matches the fVersion feature of the module.
