All "Add New Item" front-ended with a workflow
Goldman_Opentext_KC_Generic_#1_(GOLSAC02User1_(Del
Goal: All "Add new Item" actions (e.g. Add project, folder etc.) must go thru a pre-configured approval workflow, BEFORE, it actually gets added to LiveLink. i.e Our business model requires that some subject matter experts approve all content creation/uploads into LiveLink.Expected scenario: 1.A JSP/ASP builds a dynamic HTML form. 2.It dynamically creates some form fields (e.g. a drop down list) by making LivleLink calls (e.g. list of projects). 3.Form gets posted to user4.User fills form, attaches optional desktop documents5.Form data and attachments routed via a previously defined workflow in LL6.Workflow participants approve/edit/reject form/document7.Upon approval, as the last step in the workflow, one of many things happens: A new project gets created, a new folder gets created, a new discussion group gets created, a document gets placed in an existing container.Any ideas how it could be done? Any code snippets, design ideas, reference implementations, and pointers?KumarGoldman Sachs
