Auditing container objects in Livelink

Is there a way to audit content of a container object (Folder, Compound Document, etc) in LL? The audit is required not to audit the container object itself, rather audit the actions that occured within that container like: "File x was added by y on Date ....." ; "Compund Document Created on Dated ....." etc.... or this would have to be built as a separae querry?

It depends on what you mean by auditing the container.If you want to find out how many items have been added or changed within the folder, then it is just a matter of writing a query that get's audit items for all DTREE objects that have the folder as a parent.However, if you want to know how many times a folder has been visited (browse) then there is not a direct way to count the number of "hits" on the folder. You can get a good idea if the folder has a customview.html -- everytime the folder is viewed the customview.html file is fetched. You can count the number of fetches on that doc to estimate the number of hits on the folder.
