Alias source document attributes

I need to be able to retrieve the category attributes of the source document to which an alias is referring to.Specifically, I'm displaying an alias, via cdview.html. On this page, I would like to display the names and values of several of the category attributes from the document that the alias points to. I've got the displaying portion all worked out... it's just the retrieving of the pertinent data that's giving me problems...Thanks for any and all suggestions.
