I believe you should edit the html\llglogin.html in your LL installation.

Has anyone solved this problem yet? As we found out there must be more behind the scenes than merely editing the file 'html\llglogin.html'. We want to do build a logon page where the user can choose between two options: 1st a normal login with user name and password, submitted to Livelink by clicking the 'Log-In' button, and 2nd: a guest login submitted by clicking another button labelled 'guest log-in'.Our first attempt was to simply add the following section of html code to the file 'llglogin.html':---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------... after ...---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------... instead of ...---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------When we launched llglogin.html directly from the opentext\html directory for testing purposes after inserting our additional lines of code the output in the Internet Explorer was somewhat garbled, as we expected, but the button was there and even connected us to the Livelink guest account. Then we wanted to test the login procedure from Livelink, restarted the Livelink server service, but no second button appeared at all. Actually, the system simply ignored all our efforts to change the layout of the login screen. Recently, we use Livelink version 9.0.0, Win NT Server version 4.0, Internet Explorer 5.0. What can we do?

See attached llglogin.html, this works for us. No behind the scenes magic.

Has anyone solved this problem yet? As we found out there must be more behind the scenes than merely editing the file 'html\llglogin.html'.
We want to do build a logon page where the user can choose between two options: 1st a normal login with user name and password, submitted to Livelink by clicking the 'Log-In' button, and 2nd: a guest login submitted by clicking another button labelled 'guest log-in'.

Our first attempt was to simply add the following section of html code to the file 'llglogin.html':
----------------------------------------------------------
<TR>
<TD height="136"> </TD>
<TD height="136">
<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" name="guestlogin" VALUE="Guests log in here"
onClick="self.location.href='/livelink/livelink.exe?func=ll.login&username=guest&password=guest'">
</TD>

</TR>
----------------------------------------------------------
... after ...
----------------------------------------------------------
<TR>
<TD> </TD>

<TD ALIGN="CENTER">
<INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="`[WebDsp_HTMLLabel.LogInButtonLabel]`">
</TD>
</TR>
----------------------------------------------------------
... instead of ...
----------------------------------------------------------
<TR>
<TD COLSPAN="2"> </TD>
</TR>
----------------------------------------------------------

When we launched llglogin.html directly from the opentext\html directory for testing purposes after inserting our additional lines of code the output in the Internet Explorer was somewhat garbled, as we expected, but the button was there and even connected us to the Livelink guest account. Then we wanted to test the login procedure from Livelink, restarted the Livelink server service, but no second button appeared at all. Actually, the system simply ignored all our efforts to change the layout of the login screen.
