Message from Sean M Alderman via eLinkWhat do you mean by search? A query in a livereport which returnsdocuments in a workspace, or is it a real livelink search? If it's a query, you probably want to add a clause which says somethinglike -WHERE dtree.deleted = 0in order to filter documents that have been deleted out of the results.eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion wrote:> > Search Results> Posted by EquitableAdmin on 09/27/2001 01:57 PM> > Search for files / folders from a workspace returns> deleted files / folders as well.> > Solution ??> > [To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]> > ============================================================> > Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion> https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/livelink.exe?func=ll&objId=2249677&objAction=view> > Livelink Server:> https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/livelink.exe-- Sean M. Do you have some sort of "recycle bin" module installed? I can't imagine this happening in off-the-shelf Livelink. If you do have a recycle bin-type module installed, it probably added something to the schema that you could query to omit deleted items.

Search for files / folders from a workspace returns
deleted files / folders as well.

Solution ??

Don't have anything similar to "recycle bin" module installed. While I'm on the topic, is there a way to keep track of searches ? sort of an audit trail ? We need to compile "Searches Conducted this Week" sort of data.Any Suggestions ??

It is a real livelink search, from a workspace, not a live report.

Gavin & All,Did you manage to get a livereport as mentioned in your posting? We are in the middle of finding this out too! Any feedbacks on this will be helpful. 'LIVEREPORT to list out the searches carried out in a specified date period'Thanks, Rosalind YEO
