Getting Child Objects of a Project
Ben_Vosloo_(elbeadmin_-_(deleted))
I am using the functions LL_ListObjects and LL_GetNumberOfObjects, but when i try use these with the volumeID and ID of a project they say there are no children to the project when i know there are. Is there another way that could work? Many Thanks!

Message from Sean M Alderman via eLinkIf you'll give me a few days, I have a couple of java classes I'mcurrently tweaking and filling in with javadoc comments that tackle thisproblem. I will submit this to the code repository if I can getpermission from the original author.Basically, though there are two objects for every project. One storesstandard livelink objects like documents and folders (the projectvolume), the other stores other project objects (the project). When youdo a ListObjects() you'll get the one that stores projects. What myclass does is determine which kind (by subtype) it's got and thenperforms ListObjects() twice...once for the project and once for thevolume. On Fri, 2002-01-11 at 03:01, eLink Discussion: LAPI Discussion wrote:> Getting Child Objects of a Project> Posted by ELBEAdmin on 01/11/2002 02:58 AM> > I am using the functions LL_ListObjects and LL_GetNumberOfObjects, but when i try use these with the volumeID and ID of a project they say there are no children to the project when i know there are.
