A Scheduler module Required URGENT!!!

Your request did not say whether you wanted to run a Livelink function or some external process.If you mean external process then you should use the execution scheduling mechanism from the OS (ie: cron for UNIX).However, if you want to a Livelink function then you already have a scheduler builtin (it's easy, just not documented).Look in the OPENTEXT.INI file at the [loader] section and then the details for the [agent] and [notify] sections. These just add scheduling threads to the server and you can make your own. Just define the behavior in a script that will be loaded in the /script directory (the examples there should help).

Hello,As per your reply, i downloaded the custom agent module, installed it and set the schedule to run after every 5 minutes.But somehow, the echo statement in the myAgent's execute method (which is already in the module) does not get called.Can you please tell me what settings are to be done after i anstall the module ?regards,

Are you running with the builder or with the Livelink service?

If you run with the builder you have to follow the procedure as specified in the documentation (customaget_8_0_2\doc\customagent.html).
