Vineet_kulkarni_(WELFAR01User4_(Delete)_2702222)
We are on Livelink 9.1 on Solaris and Directory Services 2.2.1. We are using the Authentication feature of Directory Services only. We will not be using the Synchornization featureWe would like to use LAPI with this scenario. How do we use LAPI in such a scenario? The Directory Services documentation says the "you must use the synchronization feature in order to use LAPI"Vineet Kulkarni

Message from chris meyer via eLinkI don't think you need to change anything in your LAPI application in thisscenerio. Livelink is aware that you are using DS and will authenticate youappropriately. It should not matter that Synchronization is not done, aslong as the user exists in both the LDAP server and Livelink.Good luck, chris----- Original Message -----From: "eLink Discussion: LAPI Discussion" To: "eLink Recipient" Sent: Wednesday, May 29, 2002 11:15 PMSubject: LAPI and Directory Services with Authentication only> LAPI and Directory Services with Authentication only> Posted by WELFAR01User4 on 05/29/2002 05:14 PM>> We are on Livelink 9.1 on Solaris and Directory Services 2.2.1.
