LAPI 9.1 - XMLExport & "File" value types
Susan_Tsang_(stsang_(Delete)_2407122)
I am following the LAPI 9.1 documentation regarding xmlExport, but I think there is an error in it. It states that the "filepath" parameter should hold "the full path and file name of the file to which the XML data is written". In the xmlImport this parameter is of type File. Should these both be of type File as this parameter is being left "undefined" when Livelink calls its xmlExport.Execute().Also, there is no documentation on how to create a value object of type File. I am allocating the value, but how do you set the type??Any examples of xmlExport or xmlImport would be great. Preferably VB6 but anything would do for now.Thanks.Susan

Message from Sean M Alderman via eLinkSpeaking of XML Exports... Does anyone have any java code thatserializes a livelink xml export? From some other xml oriented projectsI've done (although none in java) it seems like it would be much easierto run an xml export of a livelink directory tree and parse that then touse LAPI to listObjects and so forth. On Wed, 2002-06-05 at 15:35, eLink Discussion: LAPI Discussion wrote:> LAPI 9.1 - XMLExport & "File" value types> Posted by stsang on 06/05/2002 03:34 PM> > I am following the LAPI 9.1 documentation regarding xmlExport, but I think there is an error in it.
