ApplyQuery() giving error -2147481632 using JAVA LAPI

I am try to use ApplyQuery() Java LAPI but when I execute the program it is giving error -2147481632 .search.ApplyQuery(objectID, selectList, "vijay*", search.SORTBYDEFAULT, "", 0, 10, "LivelinkQueryLanguage", queryResults)Also after executing this program my actual livelink search functionality also got currupted and following message is displayed "Search engine on pc-p3910:8500 not available"

Did you managed to solve this issue?

I have changend to  search.SORTBYNOTHING, "OTName" and no error anymore, but I dont see all the results I was expecting even that is retrieved 0 (no errores)
