Discussions and LAPI /Java

How do I get the information (using LAPI/Java) if a discussion topic or reply has already been read by a user ?I have already tried to retrieve this information using the function "GetObjectInfo", but I was not successful.(In Livelink there is the function "Unread only")best regards Ortrun H.
