At most points withinLivelink it is possible to retrieve the client IP address from the HTTP requestheader. The default field thatcontains this information is REMOTE_ADDR.

OScript to get client IP Address
Posted by GULFAdmin (Davidson, Robert) on 09/24/2002 04:23 PM
Please tell me if OScript or HTMLScript can catch client IP. We are trying to distinguish client users in llgllogin.html and redirect to different URL. Thanks.
Hi,
No – it is usallycontained within the .fArgs structure that is passedinto (or set as a feature) of most request handler type objects within LL. (You can normally find the HTTP headers quiteeasily within a current routine by using the Inspector).
Once you’ve located it, you canreference it with something like .fArgs.REMOTE_ADDR
Hope this helps
