Impersonating an administrator
Anquoc_Tran
Is it possible to impersonate an administrator within Builder code (without hard-coding a username and password and then using CAPI.AllocLogin)?I need to perform some DAPI Node calls (for example, DAPI.MoveNode)for which the logged-on user does not have sufficient access. Is there any other way to override this security within Builder code and allow me to do these DAPI actions? Thanks!

Hi,in my opinion this is not possible. But we have solved a similiar problem by storing a username and encrypted password in opentext.ini and creating a new programm session.Martin
