How can I get the total number of results from a search using LAPI?

When I execute a search in Livelink using LAPI, I can get the results fine, but is there any way I can tell the total number of results? For example, if I search on "Test", and specify 30 results to be returned. If the search yeilds a total of 100 results, only the 30 specified are returned. Is there any way to tell that 100 results are available?TIA,Michael
