Calling Livelink Search
Robert_Krystal_(calgaryuser5_-_(deleted))
Has anyone attempted to execute a Livelink search from outside of Livelink or from within using the search request handler? I am having trouble with wildcards and just wondering what the solution is. For example ?func=search&where=*, returns nothing. In fact unless it is an exact search, this rh returns nothing.Any comments would be appreciated.

I'm not too sure how you do exactly what you'relooking for, but you'll probably find the attached document of some use. Also, for those of you who care or pay any attention to marketing stuff,we've renamed this "Search XML API" (not to be confused with "XML Search..."Hope it helps!--P-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Development Discussion[mailto:development@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: October 17, 2002 10:26 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Calling Livelink SearchCalling Livelink SearchPosted by CalgaryUser5 on 10/17/2002 10:16 AMHas anyone attempted to execute a Livelink search from outside of Livelinkor from within using the search request handler?I am having trouble with wildcards and just wondering what the solution is.For example ?func=search&where=*, returns nothing.
