Dear eLink,Can anyone tell me whether or not Users who form part of a Group with a Form task assigned to them would need to haveAdobe Writer in order to be able to complete a sub-from aspart of their task assignment? Or would PDF writer do?Look forward to your comments.Regards,Edward Dudetsky

Message from Brown, Jeff via eLinkIf you get a form step using PDF forms, you will need Acrobat Readerinstalled on the pc of the user who is completing the step. You do not needthe full version of Acrobat to complete a step. Web forms do not requireAcrobat Reader.-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Development Discussion[mailto:development@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 9:01 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Livelink 9.0.0.1 and PDF Forms with Sub-Forms in LivelinkWorkflowsLivelink 9.0.0.1 and PDF Forms with Sub-Forms in Livelink WorkflowsPosted by BRITANNIAAdmin on 10/25/2002 08:50 AMDear eLink,Can anyone tell me whether or not Users who form part of a Group with a Formtask assigned to them would need to haveAdobe Writer in order to be able to complete a sub-from aspart of their task assignment? Jeff,Thanks for your comment. What I am referring to here is a form step for a Group which involves completion of PDFsub form. Would they need PDF writer for that?In other words a User will get a sub form task assigned to them to complete a sub-form that would form part of a PDFform, therefore I am wondering whether or not they would require PDF writer.I hope that makes sence to you.Regards,Edward Dudetsky

Jeff was correct when he said that all the user needs is Reader on the client machine. The only user that needs acrobat is the user that is designing the PDF form.
