Calling LAPI from ASP
Anuradha_Deo_(PATCOM01User2_(Delete)_2735478)
We want to customize "Search" We are using ASP pages to accept search parameters. has anybody used LAPI with ASP pages. One way could be to have LAPI in COM components and calling COM from ASP. Has anybody tried this?Or is there any other way to call LAPI functions from ASP?

Message from Slaghuis, Eric (E) via eLinkAn OT partner called Formark is selling a product LLCOM2 that exposesLAPI as a COM interface. We have used it with great success to buildcustominterfaces on top of Livelink.I am however not sure what the search capabilities of this interface is.-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: LAPI Discussion[mailto:lapi@elinkkc.opentext.com] Sent: 31 October 2002 01:08To: eLink RecipientSubject: Calling LAPI from ASPCalling LAPI from ASPPosted by PATCOM01User2 on 10/31/2002 06:04 AMWe want to customize "Search" We are using ASP pages to accept searchparameters. has anybody used LAPI with ASP pages. Using LAPI from COM objects works great with ASP. We use Visual Basic to create our COM objects and then call them from our ASP pages. The LAPI manual has VB prototype examples and I know LAPI also has a section on search functions.
