Livelink and Clearcase???

Hi,We are trying to connect Livelink with Clearcase (document versioning tool). Has anyone tried this? We are also trying to connect with Rational, ReqPro and/or TeamPlay. We would like to have our users view and search documents in these drives through the Livelink interface. Paul a question regarding Livelink Doorway.

How is security supported. From powerpoints I have seen you can set up a

user that will be the user that access the external storage or

it says that you also can use the users Livelink credentials ???

If we have authorisation using Livelink directory service --> that we either can

a) have it with LDAP

b) with Active Directory AD

What does Livelink credential means in that case ????

My feeling is that if you use AD and should use doorway to access a fileserver then it should be no

problems accessing that filesystem with the users "normal" USER RIGHTS

BUT if we use e.g. Netscape LDAP catalogue for authentification what consequences will we have when using

Doorway to access a fileserver ?? Can we access this fileserver using Doorway as the user we are logged into ??

Reason asking is that we today had an discussion with a customer if AD or Netscape LDAP should be used ....
