Hi Jeremy,
Have you tried using Formark's LLCOM2 API to do this? They sell a few different products. But, you can buy the COM API from them.It allows you easily do exactly what you are trying to do very easily from ASP's.I can provide you with sample code if you end up becoming a LLCOM2 customer.
Here is their website.http://www.formark.com

Workflow Customization - Pass In ParameterPosted by IRSCRI012 on 12/05/2002 10:32 AM
Hi,
I'm attempting to create an ASP/HTML front end which would allow a user to enter some information in, pick a workflow from a list then initiate the workflow. The workflow would then pickup some of the information entered in this front end and store it in an attribute. (ex. Say an HTML page which gets a list of all employees from an HR system and allows a user to pick a workflow to do something regarding that employee)
I was thinking about passing the value(s) via the URL on the initiate call, but it looks like I'd have to copy the entire workflow functionality to hook in on the initiate workflow screen. A custom workflow type doesn't seem to let me hook in soon enough.
Anyone out there try anything like this before?
Thanks,Jeremy
