Using Keyboard Accessibly Menus...

Message from Sean M. Alderman via eLinkGreetings, I've been looking at this option to see how much I'll need to changesome of my custom mods in order to make them work with this when weupgrade to 9.1.0. I've noticed that in the tag for the menusthe onBlur attribute is used to execute the gotoURL() javascript. Forus, and our accessibility (read Section 5.08) requirements I believethis needs to be changed to onChange (or something more approriate alongthat line). It's definitely not intuitive to select a menu item andthen have to click the focus over to another html element in order toget the desired result from clicking the selection from the menu. Thisfunctionality does not exist in the java applet, and I would thinkthere's a better way to do it than using onBlur. Here's the code from the Knowledge Center for the Personal Menu...Personal----------------Workspace----------------AssignmentsDiscussionseLinkFavoritesMy GroupsMy ProfileMy Team ProfileNewsNotificationProjectsReportsReserved ItemsSearch TemplatesTask ListsWorkflow StatusWouldn't it work better if the looked like -....I'm going to look into what it takes to make this change, but it'd be great if there was a future patch which could fix this.--Sean M.
