Update User profile thru OScript
Santosh_Nair_(sglcadmin7_-_(deleted))
Hi, We are migrating from Livelink 9001 to Livelink 9102. A lot of functions in the UAPI package are deprecated. I was searching for some functions in the UAPI package that I could use to retrieve the user information (I would be knowing only the UserName and not the User ID) thru OScript. Also I do not find functions to update the user's basic profile(First Name, Last Name email etc) . I could not find any functions that represent these functionality in the UAPI package. Can somebody let me know how we accomplish this? Do we directly 'update' the kuaf table for these info or are some functions available to do this job? Thanks in Advance

Message from Dave Kerrigan via eLinkI suggest you take a look in the WEBUSER OSPACE and also look at the $LLIAPI.UsersPkg Obj. Within builder you will have access toall the code that provides the functionality for updating users in the core product, if you want to do something similar this is agood starting point.Dave-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Development Discussion[mailto:development@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: 30 January 2003 12:19To: eLink RecipientSubject: Update User profile thru OScriptUpdate User profile thru OScriptPosted by SglcAdmin7 on 01/30/2003 07:16 AMHi, We are migrating from Livelink 9001 to Livelink 9102.
